Introducing Nederland’s #DOJ3: Darby, Ortiz, and Jones—two life-long residents of Nederland and me who has lived in Nederland most of my life -- united by a shared vision of increased city government transparency and a commitment to “positive change over more of the same.”
Born from a group of concerned citizens who regularly attend city council meetings and bring issues to light, our collective passion evolved into the movement now known as the DOJ 3. Together, we are dedicated to amplifying the voices of Nederland’s often-overlooked citizens, addressing the issues that truly matter, and driving meaningful, lasting change for our community.
I’m Jeff Darby for Nederland Mayor, proud to stand alongside Jeff Ortiz for Nederland City Council and Britton Jones for Nederland City Council. As the DOJ 3, we’re not just running for Nederland City Hall—we’re running to return Nederland City Hall to its rightful owners: you, the everyday citizens of our great city.
